The “why” to your work day: I like to solve problems for our clients and create transparency for them. Relieving their stress and finding solutions is very rewarding.

Outside of work, people find you: working out, running, golfing, biking and shooting.

Work days are spent: working with an amazing team to support and serve our valued clients.  I feel grateful to be able to do what I do, with whom I do it, and for whom we do it for!

The “why” to your work day: my focus is to ensure we are improving the physical and mental health of Canadians; specifically our clients, their staff, and families. I love math and I love people:  Employee benefits is the perfect intersection of numbers and people.

Outside of work, people find you: doing my best to live my 5 F’s:  Family, Friends, Future, Fairness, and Fitness. I also love to volunteer in the wonderful Edmonton community we live in.

First car: bright yellow Ford Fiesta with black and white checkered seats. At 16 years old, I was grateful!

Work days are spent: servicing clients, plan design management, renewal negotiations and reviews, presenting renewals and claims reviews to clients, reviewing marketing studies, providing coaching to team members as needed, looking for ways to improve efficiencies, and negotiating block renewals throughout the year.

The “why” to your work day: I enjoy providing support to clients, many of whom have become friends over the years. Being in this role allows me to continue to use both my knowledge of Underwriting and Human Resources. It is rewarding to be able to be an extension of the clients’ teams.

Outside of work, people find you: spending time with my family and friends, serving on two condo boards in Calgary, managing rental properties, walking/roaming the city, and laying on beaches around the world prior to COVID.

First car: Plymouth Reliance that I paid for $3,000 in cash! I was so proud that I had $3,000 under my name at the age of 17.

Choice of one superpower: to eat everything, and not to gain an ounce

Work days are spent: helping employers with their employee benefits program including: overall benefits strategy, financial sustainability, vendor/carrier management and selection, benefits related HR issues, and exploring opportunities to enhance Total Rewards programs for clients.

The “why” to your work day: help organizations take care of their employees health and financial wellbeing.

Outside of work, people find you: enjoying time with my wife and 2 boys and attempting something that resembles golf!

First car: Pontiac Sunfire

Work days are spent: working with my team to analyze and review group benefit renewals and claims analysis. Working with clients to provide value and knowledge to their company benefits plan. Fostering my relationships with insurance carriers.

The “why” to your work day: my work challenges me and I enjoy being able to provide knowledgeable advice to my clients. The many day to day interactions with my clients is very rewarding.

Outside of work, people find you: you can find me walking, hiking, or playing an outdoor sport. Also, constantly eyeing the next restaurant to try.

First car: Mitsubishi Lancer

Choice of one superpower: the ability to heal.

Outside of work, people find you: spending time with my family, trying to keep up with two active little boys, that love any kind of sport, so we are always outside. Love playing cards and reading.

Choice of one superpower: going into any house to look around. When you’re walking down the street, and you really like the outside of the house, and wish you could see what the inside looked like.

Work days are spent: working exclusively with successful professionals and business owners. Through collaborative and strategic practices, helping clients make work optional sooner. Our team helps to alleviate the financial stress of clients so that they can spend more time focusing on their families and on their work in the community.

The “why” to your work day: practicing my craft is a true passion of mine. Seeing the real-world value added to clients, families and businesses gets me out of bed every day. Working with ‘tuned in’ individuals I have met through the firm has allowed me to practice my art and focus on what I do best.

Outside of work, people find you: in nature with my spouse and our two dogs. We love to travel and spend our time in the mountains or near the ocean as often as we can.

Work days are spent: helping clients extract the best value from their group benefits plans, identifying solutions/areas of opportunities to unique client needs, and creating and developing new relationships and business development opportunities.

The “why” to your work day: I’ve always really enjoyed client relationship management and problem solving/consulting. This role allows me to be engaged in both of these fields every day while helping clients navigate their world of group benefits.

Outside of work, people find you: staying active, by either riding a bike (be it road or mountain), skiing, or enjoying a sunny patio with friends.

First car: 1989 Nissan Pathfinder SE (2 door)
